Happy New Year

I am excited and looking forward to the blessing God has in store for YGBC in the coming year. Let us all remember to stay focused on what God has called us to do......  That is to be a witness for Christ, sharing and spreading the gospel to all who we come in contact with.

See you all  on Sunday

Having a Desire

I encourage you to read and understand the story of the wise men. Why did they come to the baby Jesus? How far did they come? The star was their road map, but who placed the star there? We all know that God was responsible for these events. But, I want you to understand that the wise men were willing to go, they had a Desire in their heart to go, and when they got their they knew to worship the new born king. It was only after all these things had been accomplished that they began to give out their gifts they had brought for Jesus.

There is a bright star shining for each one of us, for many of us it was a person that was in touch with God and refused to give up on us. Even when they might have thought there was no hope for you, God gave them the Desire and courage to continue to pray for you and be an encouragement to you.

I encourage you to let your light for Jesus shine bright, you are someone's star, there light of hope in a dark situation. Never stop praying, and always be happy.

I Love you all

Everyday Struggles

Everyone has there everyday struggles or battles if you will. While realizing that the battle is within, one must also realize that many of our daily struggles continue because we have not been specific in our asking God to give us guidance and direction. Sure God knows about your battle, but many times we fail to be specific when acknowledging that we are in these battles. Go to the Lord in prayer and specifically ask him to show you how to escape from your daily battles.

I realize that there are times when we think that God does not have time for our battles, but that is far from the truth. God always has time for his children, and he understands that we need his help.

Thank you to everyone who prayers for my ministry, and lifts me up in prayer. I ask you to continue to support the church, and our ministry. But most of all I ask you to be obedient to God and always remember that your life is a testimony. Who are you testifying for? When others see your life, actions, and hear your words do they see the Christ Life?

I look forward to seeing you on Wed. night.
